Long shot, but is there anyone from here interested in going? Every year, a mate organises a charity gentlemans dinner at the Stradey Park Hotel, Llanelli for the Multiple Sclerosis Society, for the weekend closest to St Davids Day (which also happens to be his birthday). 
The format is tried and tested. A very good 3 course meal, followed by a talk given by a former member of the SAS or SBS, another talk given by a rugby player, the Queens Piper, Llanelli Male Voice Choir, a charity auction and probably a comedian.
You don't have to be Welsh to attend - but it helps.
The cost is £30 a head. You are expected to wear a suit - daffodil optional. Last year, he raised an amazing £13,000 in just one night.
