Another newbie

Hello,

Ive been looking for a GS, couldn't make my mind up between the 1150 or 1200.

So ive taken the plunge and bought a new 1200gs, got an offer i couldn't turn down when i part exchanged my AT.

I work away and pick up the new bike when i get home in a weeks time, can't wait to get out on it. Ive went for the faster Red colour :thumb .

Roll on the better weather and hope to see some of you on the road.

1200GS v.1150GS

You made the right choice. I changed my 1150 for a 1200 about 16 months ago. If you don't enjoy the 1200 my only advice is to give up motorcycling - you're past it!
 
Hi xairborne - welcome aboard - red 1200 has given me almost 2 years of smiley riding pleasure and onlty a couple of headaches all of which are sorted by BMW.

Are you sure its red or that pinkish maroon colour you used to wear ha ha ha !!!!!
