Collected my new bike from Wallerstons, Northampton today.
A red and grey 1200GS.
Only ridden the 50 or so miles home in freezing fog...
Chuffed to bits would be an understatement
Look forward to meeting some of you soon.

There's nothing like the feeling of going to collect a new bike. Shame the ride home was in the fog, I hope you had (God's own invention) heated grips.

How many times have you been out to the garage to look at it tonight?

Book the bike in for its 600 mile service - that gives you some motivation to get out and ride.

While you are at it, book it in for its 1000 mile breakdown, 2000 mile recall and 3000 mile gearbox replacement.

15 months on I still go into the garage witha beer or coffee and look at my 12..

She's beautiful and does beautiful things....
