Sat at home tonight bored, so I decided to do the 'prototype' 2610 screen protector, and to my amazement it works!
Cut a piece of clear pvc to shape from an Alpinestars glove packet and slipped it across the screen. Touch screen works perfect too.
It's completely sealed the screen, it's takes a bit of fiddling about but with a little patience the pvc can be slipped under the black plastic screen surround.
I thought it may help guard against petrol splashes etc
