Just heard something - ;) well i never, as easy as that .

Well pikeydave, i hear you've heard as well - you better get those crash bars on your HP2 ;) :D :D

Doesn't do much for the rough tough image that BMW have used to market the HP2 - disintergrates at a 20mph off - oops ;)
 
Valve covers made of butter.....well magnesium next softest thing ;)

It is an X HP2

Low speed tarmac.

Though I did hear it tried to launch itself into an open field by using a cylinder head and a kerb.
Spookily similar accident to the 1st HP write off!!
 
It wasn't my one by the way. I'm trying to break mine gently. And the bike's winning that battle!

Score so far.
Me: 1 bent gear lever and dented exhaust.
HP: 1 broken rib and pulled neck muscle
