Editing tracks

Anyone got a recommendation to edit tracks? I would like to post a few but they're not joined up (due to loss of satellites) and I'd like to edit out the U-turns caused by getting lost/filling up.

Freeware/shareware recommendations greatly appreciated.

Easiest thing is transfer the track to your PC. Select the start - make a waypoint at the start and finish and then switch to route mode on the PC. Click along the route and simply rewrite it by going over the route clicking as you go. You can edit as you go along the route . Save it and you are done.
I had the same problem but in the end found this was about the best way to solve the inconsistencies on the tracks.

I have just upgraded to mapcource 5 and there is much better editing on this version. You can delete sections . I haven't tried linking up tracks yet but probably it's possible now.
