ok now there is a show us your r80g/s monolever (r80st),r80gs and r100gs paralever ;) :D any more?
But I can't start this one off :D
But i did give Bakes the details of one i saw for sale.i think he bought it?did ya?

this is clean,

help me here, what is a paralever, and what the difference in those other airhead things ?

paralever is identifable by the extra pivot in the swing arm directly in front of the bevel box.

stops the rear suspension rising under power.
 
Bought the red one off our website host...very smooth engine !!
The black and yellow R100GS was immaculate but went through 3 rear bevel oil seals in three months ( P/X 'd at dealer for...gasp a F650GS ) !! :thumb

Sorry about my R100R though..really no excuse !! :(

JAY Whats the "martin" on the side panel?is it moto martin or martini?

Martin is the original dealer name - ""Erwin Martin GmbH, Schongau" Nickname for the bike now!

I'm confused, mine was an 80GS but now has a a 100RT bottom end and barrels topped off with 80GS heads. Can I post a picture or do I need to start a separate thread?

The monolever guys tried to have a sad 5 minutes to ourselves, nothing underhand, just a quick jolly - basking in our own self indulgence. Some of the paralever guys then thought they were missing out and decided to hi jack the thread. Bakerman got confused and was last seen sobbing in the corner because his bikes ugly :nenau

Blame Colt he started it.

Just the usual schoolboy spat that we should have grown out of at least 30 years ago (and the rest :D )

i haven't seen so much interest on the airhead forums :D so it worked.
like i said,i was looking at airhead pics on this site.
i particularly wanted to see the r80g/s earlier model,so thought i would ask for some pics.
i thought it would be a good resource, to have pics of the monolever on one thread.
after all there already was a show us your r100gs thread .

sean get your pics out :D

i think someone else can start the "show us yer ugly airhead thread" :D
