Does anyone know the availability of the Full Akra exhaust system (headers and single muffler) used by the BMW sponsored HP2's?

I also have been looking for a system for the HP2 , Akrapovic was what i wanted like the factory bikes they use in Germany with the pipes up and out of the way , and hopefully without the CAT . from what I can gather there is only a tail pipe available at present from Akrapovic, but I have been told that Laser are in the final phase of launching a system . hopefully with off road in mind that will increase power by about 12 Hp , it comes with it's own injection controller , laser I am told is Due in June
my main requirements are
Lose the Cat
tucked up and out of the way
a bit cleaner" Sharper" power delivery
and i dont mind who's system i buy if I can get my wish list

I'm in for the same. The Can on it's own is not really of interest. The system as seen on the works bikes would be ideal.. The extra clearance and improved performance is a must for me.

guys, i have been in touch with staintune here in australia. The have allready made a full system for the hp2 and have put it on ballards (top isde) rider hp2.The have siad when they get enough interest they will put it into production. Send them some mail. Staintune do good stuff.......

I have the Akrapovic full system on my BMW R 1200 GS....I have had Akra full systems on other bikes too....and I feel they make the beat stuff out there for light weight, max overall performance and great fit and finish...
Im looking at getting an HP2 and setting it up for double duty as a Dual Sport, fire road and canyon carving motard bike....
I would like to find a full Akra system for it like the factory backed bikes are running....if need be, Ill get the R 1200 GS full system and make it fit....

I spoke to Darren at Vines this morning who confirmed that BMW has approved the Akrapovic end can for the GS/GSA/HP2 but he couldn't say whether they would be installing and approving full systems.

phil have spoken to ballard and he has removed the system because he went on a bmw rally so he put the original back on, he felt it improved the bikes power through the range. I will ask him for a photo.At this stage he is busy with his bike biz and currently has a set of motard wheels on the hp2.
Phil, i think at this stage im catching a ferry over to cork on july 15th, do u want to have a beer and talk bikes

Hi mate you can get a full system as in the works team direcht from Hpn preise is €1500 +19% mwst orjust €1500 export with foren vat nr. lasser system is much cheiper and buying abroud meins you can some times save on the vaHave made some fork leg adapters for Brembo p4 if any body wants to uprate the brackes
