Touring the US?... North Carolina US129 not to be missed... I picked up my 1150Adv in Atlanta (Blue Moon Cycles good guys) in late Feb. Decided to slap a few miles on her before running home to Ft lauderdale Florida., So headed into the smokey mtns. The whole area here is criss crossed by amazing black top with dirt fire roads (As they call them here) beckoning exploration. At this time of year it was a bit Pearl Harbour (A bit of Nip in the air) but the empty roads,heated grips and of course the "I've got a new bike" buzz and space on my credit card sorted that. To stop My Waffeling..
1 Cold Mountain:- Great Road 34 miles up and over 5000ft
2 Ashville:- Culture, Music, Home Brew @ Green Man Pub good people
3 Maggie Vally:- BBQ Ribs, motorcycle museum Evel Knievels bikes
4 Cherokee:- Indians, white water rafting
5 The Dragon Tail:- 11 miles 318 curves, big drop offs, still on knobbies mortality check. INFO @ www.dealsgap.com
