This weekend I found that the OS Explorer map of my area has a shedload of byways marked on it.
I now have a new route to work.

Though did come close on the way home last night, not quite sure how I managed to stay on.
And I don't reckon I could do it at all in the wet (I don't think my Tourances would get me out of those ruts if they were full of mud).

If you don't already have the Explorer maps for your area go and buy them now (I'm off for the next ones over this afternoon).

Great to see you are putting your training to good use JT.

One point to note, those ruts look a lot harder than the moss you are used to falling on !
