Hello East Anglian tossers,
I'm looking to publicise the Pink Way Around event for the Region 1 bit (Kings Lynn to Dartford Tunnel). One of the ways of doing this is to contact the local newspapers and any big companies along this bit of the coastal route. Although I'm a South East resident, I don't know every town on the route and a few names to get me started would be very useful! :thumb

I need to find out the names of the local papers and any big companies in:
- Kings Lynn
- Yarmouth
- Lowestoft
- Ipswich
- Colchester
- Chelmsford
- Basildon

(I do realise that this info is probably available on the 'net, but it's difficult to suss out which are the biggest/most popular titles and businesses to aim for if you don't live there.)

If you could post up any names and titles to aim for, that would be most appreciated, I'll google them to do the rest. :bow

(BTW, we have a test run on Sunday 2nd July starting from Kings Lynn if anyone fancies a ride-out! :thumb )

Many thanks,

Andy

Argent owns many (In fact just about all of the local) titles in Norfolk & Suffolk - see here.

The Beach is one of the more popular independant radio stations in Yarmouth/Lowestoft

Broadland covers most of Norfolk & Suffolk

Hmmm companies Lind BMW Norwich but they don't do bikes anymore

From my recent experience with local papers they only seem interested when there is a "local connection" i.e. you may be better off contacting your own local paper and ask your region "team members" to contact their local paper(s).
