I pods......not easy

i have just been given a mates brand new I Pod colour thingie to load songs on

and i've been at it for a day... it keeps getting a corrupt file and i have to reset to factory settings :spitfire

get 20 Gigs on it and it locks up sort of :nenau

definitely nowhere near as easy to use as an archos i've re-installed everything on the PC too :spitfire

am i going to have to phone steptoe?

maybe i'm missing something :nenau

You aren't mounting it as a disk and then dumping stuff onto it are you?

Use iTunes and it's sooooo easy.

i was and am using i tunes

12 gig loaded this time so far.... 15 gig to go

for what is meant to be so simple.... it's not turning out that way

i prefer Musicmatch jukebox for keeping my music and easy ripping plus taggin' of tracks

for i tunes - I'm using it for the first time, through Windows, and all seems to be going well.
I've spent the last 2 weeks (on & off) copying all my CD collection on to itunes and now just putting it onto the 2 x 20gb pods i've bought recently.

Seems to be fairly easy to use - I'll be the one singing along on Saturday
