StreetPilotIII v5 upgrade help!

I have just received v5 from Garmin; currently on v4.01. There were no instructions on how to 'upgrade' - & I'm loathe to start 'playing around' with it having heard horror stories of locked-up machines that have to be sent back to Garmin.

So....could anyone advise me of how to do the upgrade please?

There really is no danger to your streetpilot with this uopgrade, as all you are doing is adding another map to your mapsource software on your computer.

Just pop it in your CD drive and follow the prompts.

then when you open mapsource you will find that both the old and new maps are available. If you dont want to keep the old version just uninstall it from control panel.
