What to buy?

I'm in the market for a secondhand gps that I can use in the car and on the bike. I've previously had an Ipaq running tomtom2 but it has now died.
Having searched the archives Garmin seems to be the brand of choice here and it looks like a 2610 fits the bill.
Before I press the ebay button are there any other units I should be considering ?

AAMOI the 2610 can be had new for less than £300 nowadays i believe.

Just be sure you know what you're getting - installation CDs, unlock codes, etc. Be very careful with Garmin ebay purchases. Also, make sure the unit has an Atlantic basemap.

I have a 2610 I am thinking of selling. V6 of Mapsource with all unlock codes and software updated from Garmin website.
