green laning around Maidenhead

Just finished level 1 with BMW and looking forward to use the skills learned. Picking up bike is one of them. Just moved to Maidenhead and looking into buying a off road bike, wondered if anyone knows of excisiting trail riding groups in this area. Or are in the same position as me and want to start riding off road a bit more.

So any info on excisting groups would be welcome. I will contact the TRF also.

Don't know of any "formal" groups other than Loddon Vale TRF.
There aren't many non-RUPP lanes left around Maidenhead AFAIK but there are a few GSers in the Reading area who are always keen on "informal" outings

I'll second that. The few lanes we had in the Knowl Hill and Henley area were all lost when NERC came in. The nearest to you would be over Reading way, right on Clive's doorstep.

Dennis, I'm Maidenhead based, and after this trip, I'd like to keep having a go at off-road. Even thinking of an XR400 for the job and it would be cool to have a go close to home! Once we're back that is....
