I 've just been given a 1975 CB750F1 (banana yellow), it's my new restoration project. It's been stood in my mates damp garage for the last 10 years as the chain snapped and cracked the crankcase (thats why I love BMWs) and he hasn't had the time (he works overseas) to sort it.
Has anyone got any parts laying around they want to sell CHEAP. In particular I need a chain guard, rear light unit, rear chrome bar that indicators mount on, side panels, oh and an engine.
Ta very muchly. FATAL.xxx

they're getting rare now - i guess you'd be lucky to find a set of cases.

best just get it welded up :thumb

DK are bringing in containers of old jap stuff in every month, they will be able to help.
mate got a cb750 last year in mint cond
once its up and running do a bit of research about the oil supply to the head has been known to be a weak spot

As mentioned DK are good for older spares but the best be would be a trip to the Classic Mechanics show at Stafford on the 20th and 21st of this month. Its an absolute must for anyone restoring older jap bikes and there is a large autojumble, one of the stand specialises in sohc honda fours.

Aye thanks, I've already got Stafford down as a 'must go', in fact I prefer the 2 Stafford classic shows each year to the NEC show, I find it easier to relate to the older stuff. I've just managed to source a complete engine and some other bits locally for a couple of hundred quid, so it's frame and associated bits off to the powder coaters in a few days, and start to rebuild the engine.

kenny, you're not the first to say that, but I can't resist the challenge. Some say I'm the patron saint of lost causes.
