Quest backlight on for last 400m

Is there a way of keeping the backlight on for the last say 400m before the next turn. Currently mine lights up and then off and then off again before the turn. I would like to have it on so that I can see how far away I am from the turn and then 'power down' as normal.

Menu>Settings>Bcklight timeout might be the place to start?
