Got anice present: Touratech Quo Vadis full version but withouth the map CD's.
Is anyone there with Tou'tech CD's willing to share?

Not quite the nice present if you can't use it without the CDs. Eh!?

I thought QV works with any maps. Can't you use O/S maps or input your own??

Hi Howard:

Yes, it is possible to scan and calibrate your own maps, but is a longish and time consuming affair. The beauty of having ready made maps is the fact that they are already prepared for you.
But, you are right. Coming winter, it will keep me entertained learning to make my own maps...
