The Mort bit comes from my surname (Morton) but sadly, yes I read the books along with the constant re-reading of Douglas Adams.
Saw my bike today for the first time in 3 months, apart from the buggered rear subframe where the rear footrest hanger was ripped off the damage wasn't as bad as I remembered. Still having a long drawn out fight with the insurance but it will be back on the road next year even if I have to fix it myself.
