Does any one have any Mapsource type maps saved with their travel routes in Southern Spain...and would they be prepared to copy these onto this thread with the particularly nice roads shown?

Any other contributions to the 'must see' list thoroughly welcome. :thumb

Not got the mapsource thing mastered, but the road from Zahara to Grazalma, the Ca 531, was a great find on my trip to Gib in Sept.

any ideas for Extramadura region, and across the boder with portugal?

The n435r from zafra to huelva is one of the best roads in spain :thumb

Ben,

Almost anything Ca prefixed will be fun. Many are 'unmade' or start off very narrow proper surface and then can be great GS stuff.

This one is in Extramadura (can't remember where exactly now)...

It went on for 33 Km and then re-joined a C road.

V8 of Mapsource has a lot more of these C & Ca classified roads than the older versions showed. If you have V8 you should be able to sit and pick out a decent route at home.

Excellent Mike, I do have v8 but there's nought like personal recommendations. V8 doesn't give you views to remember, meals to salivate over....

I like the Ca road tip.

Thanks
