Mac intel

parallels and xp is not able to see (in my case) a quest 1 on either a mac mini or macbook. forums on parallels site worth keeping an eye on. you see reports of some newer devices working o.k.

It probably works o.k. in boot camp mind you, but parallels is so near perfect that it's a shame to have to reboot.

There's something odd about the way the mapsource software looks thorugh the device node tree, and it doesn't recognise it despite it being seen as a vendor specific device in osx, and also in xp as a garmin usb device.

I have Mapsource on my MacBook Pro using Bootcamp/XP

It's much quicker to use than it ever was on my 2year old Vaio, also using XP

Parallels - ok with 2610, doesn't work (yet) with Quest 1.

Don't listen to Manny F - he's got a headache ;)

Just sat in front of my new imac !! so all I need to do now is find a copy of windows (and have a long chat with my son) and he will soon get mapsourse up and running I,m sure, thanks for the tips, I thought Manny F might be a bit
off coulor,
