Can I use Quest v8 on yr old 2610?

Hi all,

Have done a search and went blind

Simple question to the board.... I have a Quest1 which I bought new in Jan06 and have got myself a yr old 2610 with V7 maps,cd's x4.

I have bought a 2gb card for the 2610 and was wondering if I can use V8 maps on the 2610

I have unlock codes for both sets of maps. I assume the V7 is on four discs because they are CD and not DVD as V8 on one disc.

Could not find a straight forward answer on the search so sorry if its a stupid question

Short answer is yes

Your unlock code works for two units so you're fine. Just remember to select V8 when you upload your maps onto the 2Gb card - damhikijkok
