Garmin Zumo - City Navigator NT CD Europe V9 - Help please

So I installed the above on my PC at home, worked just fine, all loaded in OK.

I come to work, and try and load the same disc on my work PC. No joy. The PCs here at work have CD drives, not DVDs. Is this why it's not loading in?

I know that, what I'm asking is this; must you have a DVD drive for this disc? I'm assuming so.

To Install it, yes. But once you have it installed, no...
So if you absolutely must (bear in mind that internal DVD drives are cheap as chips these days), you could install it using an external (USB) DVD drive, and then you'd be sorted..

Another point: if your Work PC doesn't even have a DVD-drive, will it be good enough to run CN v9? I wouldn't imagine that the power requirement is to great, but you would want to make sure you have enough space for a complete install (Probably around 4GB). Isn't V9 also XP or higher only as well?
