Speedcamera Alert on Quest1

I tried a search but no luck. Has anyone else used the GPSW website subscription then uploaded their speedcamera database to their Quest1?
Is it worth it? what sort of alert do you get visual, audible or both?
Is it easy enough for a IT numpty?

It's easy to do...just download it and install, then it should appear in the drop down menu of maps available....select it, and don't forget to select the actual maps as well (or you'll just have the speed camera locations and nothing else) and upload to the Quest.

You won't get any warnings, no beeps, nothing apart from a little coloured blob appear on the screen as you approach it.......the Quest can't do warnings.

Tried it but, IMHO, not worth bothering with. You'll be too distracted keeping an eye on the screen for the blobs.

Yeah I think you could be right there Bumpkin, shame really cos it would be a useful feature.

I've used the overlay on my old Quest and on my current 2610, personally I find it very handy & not distracting at all - each to their own
