Tom Tom help please

I bought an HP PDA second hand with an SD card with tom tom loaded onto it which worked great until i let the battery run down on the PDA!

I have a device code and a website link displyed on my PDA but i can't reactivate my tom tom as i don't have a product code to enter to get my activation code!

Can anyone please help me as i am literally lost without my tom tom, lol

www.globalpositioningsystems.com has a forum that may help. at a push tomtom direct, but in my experience from their customer support I wouldn't waste the time typing!

As a self confessed IT pillock how do i do that?

There are downloads available !

What you need to do is replace the program file "\Mobile Device\Program Files\Navigator\Tom Tom Navigator.exe" with a cracked version that doesn't look for the licence codes.

You should be able to do this using Windows File Explorer while your PDA is conected to your PC.

Always a good idea to keep a backup of the the original program just in case.

.....and if you still have no joy drop me a PM - I have the software/maps on CD from a couple of years back when I used a PDA for SatNav ;) (do you know what version of the TomTom software you were using?)
