SPIII/Norway

Has anyone used SPIII/MapSource in Norway?

There are no detailed map segments for most of Scandinavia, will the base map detail be sufficient to get me to the North Cape & back or will I have to resort to paper maps?

Yes the mapsource is very light on detail for scandinavia but should get you there. I went this summer and went up the E6 from north of Lillehammer...brilliant road if you like twisty bits and scenery...a fair bit of tourist traffic to keep you interested. I came back through Finland and sweden on the r45 and found it dull, boring and a definite anticlimax after Norway.
