Looking at the various mounting options for a Quest it seems I can use Garmin's mount, a RAM mount or various Touratech ones. Does anyone have any advice as to which is the best option?
Also where's the best place to put it on a 1200GS?
Thanks

I'll have an answer to that very soon.
I'm working on a mount that puts your gps above the clocks like the G1150PS mount (http://www.ukgser.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18353&page=4&pp=16&highlight=g1150PS) I have made.
The rough prototype is ready, a decent one is expected soon.

There is no "best" - it depends where you want it and what you want to be able to do. I have a RAM mount on the right of my handlebars; places the GPS approximately above the tank filler; means I have to move it to fill up but I can easily reach the touch screen while riding. Shaun's pic is good but I bet he has to lean forward to manipulate the unit, reducing control and destabilising the bike while he's at it; plus it's further away.
