Gonna be late.

Just checked the calendar, it's the lantern parade and climax of the New Mills Festival that night. We've spent today making lanterns from the stuff you do basket weaving with and paper mache, you make stuff like boats, and whales and birds and stuff, you put a little tea light in them and they glow, then we parade around town and finish up with a firewrok display :thumb It was good last year.

I wanted to make a lantern in the shape of an AK47, but they frowned so we ended up making a cup and saucer instead :(

So, gonna be late, but still at leats three or four hours before last orders :D

Fare rules
A booking is valid for carriage solely for the flight to which it relates or to which it has subsequently been changed and accepted by us in accordance with Article 3 of our General Conditions of Carriage for Passengers and Baggage.
A booking for return flights is, in fact 2 separate flight bookings which, for your convenience, are given a single booking reference.
Reservations are generally changeable, up to 3 hours prior to departure, subject to payment of 15GBP/ 25EUR/ 35CHF/ 750CZK/ 180NOK/ 90PLN change fee per person per one-way flight. In addition, where a change of person has been made or a date has been changed, any increase between the fare paid and the current available fare per sector at the time of making such a change, will be charged. If the fare has decreased, no refund will be paid.
Once a booking has been completed, to change dates please use our online facility. For other changes, including changes to names, contact our Call Centre.
When return flights are booked, a name change may only be made if the name is changed on both flights.
No route changes are permitted
Please note that prices available through our Call Centre do not attract the on-line discount. Furthermore, fare prices offered during certain promotions and special offers are only available via our website.
Infants may fly free provided they sit on the knee of a fare paying adult. See Travelling with Children.
Jet2.com is a non-refund airline, save as provided in our Conditions of Carriage for Passengers and Baggage. In these exceptional circumstances, if Jet2.com agrees to a refund, an administration fee per passenger per sector will be charged.

I'd really like to be at this one, but cannot.

So....... a few tips from my one and only fact finding mission:

1) Switch off your mobile phone and keep it hidden.

2) Do not drink the free "tonic water" unless you enjoy the haunted chair experience.

3) Keep an eye on the chairs. Some of them move without warning.

4) Digital cameras are regarded as "witchcraft" by the regulars, but largely accepted.

5) It is normal for dogs to stand on the tables.

6) Enjoy!

..er.. for reasons I am not prepared to admit to I have the KFC logo as a vector image (illustrator file) it doesn't reveal the font sadly but it could be easily adapted...

I'll happilly pass this on to anyone who's interested.

and if any of you are ever after any company logo in vector format - I've got most things....

I'll have to look up " conkers, for the use of " in the safety manual.

Might be allowed, but in a confined space where alcohol is being served , the players would have to wear reflective safety vests, and safety harness's (i'll explain that section later), still have 4 sub sections, and 2 pages of "conker" amendments.

Any ideas about how to get him to make a small diversion to the Stags on the way over?

I was thinking maybe ask him to pick up some bits from Ian at the pub on the way through. You'll also have to organise the hiding and jumping out bits, as I wont be there.

That's how I did them when I was a nipper. You may be well advised to stand in another room, or if you have one, another building, while microwaving the conkers.

It's would also be prudent to have a phone with you, should you need to make a call, in a hurry, in case someone is needed at home rather quickly, with hoses, and big red trucks.
