  1. Riding with Skygod

Having entered the Exeter Trial I thought it may be a good idea to get some experience of offroad riding, since apart from a few C90 enduro races a few years ago it is nearly 20 years since I rode in an offroad race. I had read a few mentions on this forum of people who had gone out with' 'Skygod' - otherwise known as Gary Pitchford, the MD of the Adventure Bike Warehouse in Manchester. ...

  2. My GS

And just to complete the picture - here is my GS. A 2001 BMW R1150GS. I bought it from Clarks BMW in Rednal in February 2007. It had one previous owner and had 18k on the clock. 4. Bonneville Gone

Sold the Bonneville today - bought it with my heart rather than my head when I got to 50 but never quite gelled with it and taking two days to clean it in the summer made me decide it really wasn't what I needed. Maybe try again with one when I get to 60!

  5. First post

Used to have a blog but ran out of steam and never kept it up so this may or not last!

If you don't know me I have a website at which has a load of stuff about my main interests in motorcycling; long distance riding and rallies.
