OK, here is a strange one… My setup is as follows

R1200GS ‘07
Autocom Active plus (200) wired to aux socked under seat
Garmin Zumo 660 wired to aux under the seat
Puxing 888 running off its own battery – using the Autocom vox (Puxing vox switched off
Bike battery hooked up to optimate when not in use

When using the autocom and sat nav everything is fine. I can clearly hear the instructions and there are no issues…

When I use the autocom with the Puxing and/or the Garmin I have a strange problem where intermittently the fuel gauge drops to zero and I get the fuel warning displayed on the dash – similar to the well knows petrol level sensor issue. The tank is full so I know there is petrol there and it only does this when the Puxing is wired to the autocom.

Also, the Puxing will sometime begin to switch between transmit and non-transmit for no apparent reason i.e. no vox trigger. This usually happens when the bike is stationary e.g. idling at lights. I have two Puxing 888’s and they both do the same…

I have no idea on why the above is happening. Does anyone have similar issues or an idea of how to fix these two issues?

For me this is an excellent setup with Phone, GPS, Music, Audio book and rider pillion perfect sound! I'm getting some good reports from the Scala G4 but not tried one yet! Has anyone used the above setup? If so what did you think? Any new users out there!!!! I can reccomend this setup!:)

Bluetooth is coming on every month i see a new unit come on the market! Keep the reports coming in!

So I got an itrip FM transmitter to go with the iphone.

Tested it in my living room, it works fine. I wonder if it will be ok as you are travelling long distances.

What are the chances that the vacant frequency you ve identified and streamed through the radio, becomes occupied by a station as you move through the country? Do you have to keep looking for an vacant slot every 200km then?

Any experiences by similar set ups would be most welcome...

However, I would still like to use my in ear monitors.

Has anyone adapted one of these headsets, and if so, did you have to fit any kind of resistor or other electronicky thing to make it work properly?

I'm happy with the soldering part - but wanted to make sure it would work and was worth it first!

Bought a pro 7 Autocom off another tosser on here.Motorrad cardiff fitted it for me.
