From Machynlleth take unclassified mountain road sign posted Dylife and Llanidloes. After Dylife turn right at T junction on to B4518 through Staylittle to Llanidloes. At Llanidloes turn right at T junction to island, right at island through main street past market hall.Take third on left signposted Tylwch.Keep on road through Tylwch,Pant y dwr,St Harmon to Rhayader
Hope everyone got home safe, see you again sometime:)

Those of us that did the extended run/stay thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and found some great roads and a campsite worthy of a club visit. Cheers Andy for a good run, shame no-one else was able to stay over with us.:beerjug:

Not sure of the name but...

Take the A487 north from Machynleth, turn left onto the B4405, go past the lake (take note of the hotel at the far end, great food) carry on to Abergynolwyn, turn right by the pub in the middle of the village, continue along narrow winding road to crossroads and turn left, continue for approx 1km, campsite on the right. Depending on how the sargeant major is feeling she will charge you 2-3 poonds a night, and you can have a camp fire!

He's right about the site....gggrreeeaaattt. Going back there for the week next week with the van full of the mountain bikes, surfboards, body boards etc. Going to do some of the single track loops in the forrests ofthe area and the karrimor and Betws single track has to be seen to be appreciated. Epic stuff all round and to be recommended if you are into the triple chainring stuff. Just seeing Sian at Brenin is enough reason to go.
