My longest owned bike

I bought this in 1972, when I was 15. Money saved from a Saturday job working in an HGV workshop. I raced it in Pre65 meetings during the 80’s and still got it now. Still have it’s original engine, exhaust and various other bits. Never to be sold while I’m still alive..!

Probably not the most sought after old bike, but I couldn’t resist this due to its originality, condition and, most of all, price.

It came from quite near to your place, just South of Blackburn.

We look after our bikes up here. Because..................It rains so much oop north we only get to ride about 27 days per year

It’s certainly not a bike I’d want but it’s in remarkably good condition for its age :thumb2

A few of my classics, although I’ve been down sizing lately thing got a little cramped
