Does anyone know where I can get the BMW specific 12v power cable for my Zumo? The one that plugs in by the auxiliary socket. Mottorad concepts used to have them, but they seem not to be listed on their site any longer. Thanks in anticipation.

We've taken them off our website as the spare Zumo cables are proving very difficult to source.

However we are able to convert customers own Zumo cables with the BMW plug.

Just call us on 0131 663 1012....

It is pretty straight forward to do yourself;

Cut to the right length; check with the unit on the bike first

Remember that the centre pin is positive (red)
Then connect (screw or soldier)

Check that your unit has power then fill the pliug with a neutral cure silicon (keeps water out and provides strain relief)

Where do you get the plug from? The one that you put on the end of the Zumo power cable and connects to the front aux take-off on the wiring loom by the headstock?

Also the connector at the headstock appears to have three wires going to it, any idea why? (I was expecting just +ve and ground)
