Hi everyone,

Found this on Ebay and thought it might be good for one of you guys/gals: Garmin European Unlock Certificate (All Regions) Currently £180.00 but can 'BUY IT NOW' for £200.00
Might be worth a go if you've already got a Garmin GPS?

Could you have got the prices back to front there?
Also I believe this is only to do with the GPS V (five) CD roms.

Not back to front. Last time I looked the current bid price was £180.00. However, you can close the auction early by paying £200.00 and secure the deal immediately. Hope that clears it up for you. As for GPS V, not sure...I was just browsing and thought it might do for someone.

Just some info that may be of use..........

The 'whole of europe' unlock code for mapsource cds (re GPS V anyway) is $170 ish US Dollars from Garmin, or you can get it for £113 GBP from www.touratech.co.uk

£200 would therefore seem a little steep!

The software you get with the GPS V or buy seperately contains very detailed maps of the whole of europe (or the US if bought there) but you only get to unlock 1 country with your purchase!!! If you want the rest of europe you have to pay for a code that 'unlocks' the rest of the maps on the cd roms. In other words you have the data but can't access it or upload it to the GPS without paying more money out!!
