While you lot were out on the various rides we did some crag training.

The view wasn't bad.

The exercises consisted of a simulated casualty rescue off the cliff face.

here is our poor injured climber

We had a good day training in a strange area which we always enjoy.

:clap

Bloody fantastic Madmikey... I sooo want to have a go at that :D

You got too, it's great fun. Espesialy if you get to do a forward absail.

Mikey, good to see you guys at Llangollen. Keep up the good work, I'm glad I've never had to call you out, and glad to know your there if ever I need too.

Cheers Guys you all do an amazing job :thumb2

Val.

I wasn't completely accident prone, I did a bit of rescuing myself you know. Look here's the proof

Oh and you forgot the question that has to be asked
does this stretcher make my bum look big :augie

yams fookin nuts, but fair play:bow i'm not that good with heights:eek:

can deal with most heights although being upright in that stretcher is a bit disconcerting. You feel as if your falling forwards even though you are well strapped in, the things I do for my team  .

Stretchers..

Eh Sharridee.. I was once hauled up the cliffs of constitution hill in Aberystwyth in one of those stretcher, by a landy with adodgy transmission and even more dodgy captston winch..they "bumped" me a few times. SCARY!

Looks like a top day out!

I almost dread to ask how you managed to get conned into that?? Hope it wasn't for real.

We use techniques that the Canadian Mountain rescue teams use it makes the stretcher ride a bit smoother and takes all of the shock loading out of the system which is better for the ropes.
