Donnington Day of Champions

I'm going to miss the GP on Sunday (we got tickets to see some wrinklies callled Aerosmith at Hyde Park) so my son and I went to Donnington on Thursday for the "Day of Champions" a chance to get close ( in some cases) to the stars-you might recognise a couple............

Nicky was more than happy to accomodate fans of other riders-my son Josh





Colin Edwards raised a smile when asked to sign a lady's T-shirt handed to him by her partner Colin asked whether she was waiting around in just her bra-she was!

Thwarted by the gangs of groupies,this was as close as we got to Valentino..........







Josh got a bit closer to the lovely Suzi Perry from the BBC MotoGP commentary team







Not to be outdone by a 14 year old,Dad moved in for a piece of the action






We also bumped in to Eurosport commentator Julian Ryder as we were leaving.






A great day out !


This fella claimed to be famous and insisted upon being in some of our pics-nobody seemed to know who he was though..........





Some die hard fans had created their own Tshirts-good effort !




There will be some who would ask-before they do-YES we did go on the bike and NO we didn't get soaked!

Have to say though I was disappointed to hear Casey Stoner booed by a small section of F*****G w*****S who aren`t fit to lick his s**t.
Must make pit walk next year.
