standard mirror thread size?

Can someone tell me the thread size of standard mirrors on the 650GS, they look 8mm to me but could someone confirm please?

Yes thats what I would have said too. M8 1.5mm pitch. Seen some nice mirrors in the hein gericke catalog. will go nicely with their bendy stalked indicators, which go for half the price of the touratech ones might I add...( no connection to HG in any way but I just been flipping through the pages of the catalogue and thought....)

I'm not buying any aftermarket mirrors, just fitting the standard ones off my monster as the BMW ones are a bit tatty, the mirrors are corroding around the edges. I just needed to confirm the thread size as I have to buy adapters as the monster ones are 10mm.
