2001 DRZ SK1, pretty standard except a nice Acerbis tank and a fiddled with zorst, though I do have a Scorpion ti to fit.

Nicely fettled with all the stainless spacers etc by Possu. But it does look a bit naily.

As soon as I'm out of plaster and weight bearing (about 8 weeks :tears) Ill be back on it. Could do with new wider footpegs and either risers or new bars, and some adjustable levers.

Please add yourself if you have one of the following bikes:
DRZ400S
DRZ400E
DRZ400SM
DR650
DR600
DR350

Snoopy, there's one model missing:
DRZ400

The real do-er kick-start model...............
I've got the first one in the UK in 2000.
It's fecking ugly, it's been thrown up nearly every green lane I know (which is not many!:augie)
Maintained when required, which hasn't taken much over the 7 years.
It will be passing as many bling bikes as possible during the Cambrian, especially KTM handbaggers.....:thumb
I just hope that all the fords are over 24 inches deep, 'cause this bike has been the best forder I've ever owned, followed closely by my XR400.
Mods are numerous, none are power boosting as reliability is easily lost.

Timpo.

Although it sounds typically BTBR blinged up, that must be telling you something in your 'quest' mate:thumb

Can I join now?

Just bought her an hour or so ago ( cheers Mike :thumb2 ) - my DR350SE

dr350.jpg

Bike: DR350SEx
Year: 99
Engine: Stock
Extras: Pretty much stock at the moment, Renthal Bars and the Acerbis Cyclops Headlamp, KTM indicators, few other bits and bobs
Setup: Will be an snow bike for february
Sprockets: Stock
Luggage: My pockets

I picked this up last week - no photos yet, I'm afraid.

Bike: DR650SE
Year: 96
Engine: Stock engine with Dynojet, K&N and airbox mod.
Extras: Hand guards, extra padding in the seat.
Setup: Currently road biased, Metzeler Sahara tyres, suspension lowered
Sprockets: 14t front sprocket, standard rear

I'm planning tweaks already. I'd like to change the bars first, but I think I'll settle for some bar risers to begin with. I could do with sourcing some case protectors and a sump guard before I get too keen as well.

Got one at last!

Got mine at the weekend.

Got my DR-Z400E a few days ago, with Outtomunch and H.R.H. OONYACK provenance.

Now to get to grips with the basic maintenance on it...

Farmer Phil's Beef In A Box

Bought my 2002 400E yesterday.

Once I got it home I got to grips with some little jobs. :augie

The rim locks were taken off at some time & the rubber bungs were not put back in, there's a tight link in the chain and the fork gaiters have been repaired with insulation tape- that should keep me busy for a few hours until I find something else to do!

I assume that sump guard isn't std? & it has bar raisers & a grease nipple in the headstock.

Although it came with a 12 month MOT, how does it get through without indicators, mirrors or a chain guard?

I assume that sump guard isn't std?

That looks like a CRD sumpguard - 4mm alloy (The standard item is made from 1mm plastic!!). As Charlie Batty will affirm, you don't get absolute protection, but that sumpguard is as good as any and better than many.
