Really stoopid question time:

I got hold of a 2nd hand pair of these protectors for my 2000 'E' and have just finished fitting them.

Because they extend approx a further inch from the side of the rads they force out the plastic rad scoops to the extent that the bottom mounting holes in the scoops don't line up with the holes in the guards that are presumably there for the purpose :nenau

Also the r/h scoop is forced out to such an extent that it's stressing the top mount where it screws into the tank.

I'm thinking that the first frontal impact the scoops have they will just rip right off :nenau

Any body else here got them fitted?

Am I being really stoopid and missing a trick here??

Cheers

Not sure.. but..

I dont have them,,
But from this piccy on their site it looks like they should fit around the rads without pushing the side scoops out too much.

I have an S with the plastic guards..
