ABS

How does one turn off the ABS (02 650 GS)and how do you know when it is off, does the ABS light stay on?

I believe you hold down the ABS button then turn on the ignition. The ABS light should flash after a few seconds and will continue to do so until you turn off the ignition. The ABS will default to on the next time you turn the ignition on.

I turn the ignition key to on, then press the ABS button down and hold for about 3-4 seconds. You know you have done it right when the ABS light continuously flashes slowly. As long as the ignition key stays on it will stay in that state. You can kill the engine by stalling or using the kill switch and that saves you going through the whole routine every time if you are stopping and starting.
