Winter ride out

Terry's Winter ride out Saturday 24th Nov -9am

following PHIL & IANS ride out saturday. plus have spoken to PHIL this fine afternoon we was wondering weather any of you Chaps would like to meet up again for ride around . 100 to 150 mile loop... which i think we should hit the cost this time around or even a beach on the GS just to see weather the bikes do not fall apart before we get home..

So any of you up for a Run into Mid Wales Barmouth area !! plus if your lucky i'll put in a easy green lane

plus if your up for it we could even make it a over nighter... around 30 quid each with a B&B that as beer on tap...thus giving us longer on the lanes...sorry roads

i've stayed here a few times now... nice couple that run the place !! the pub is a 10 minute walk away if your not happy staying at the BAR

I'd be up for a go on the beach - getting some TKC80's fitted at the weekend.

I'm away until the following weekend though.

An overnight stay would be good though at some point :thumb2

i think RObs heading out Barmouth way green laning in a few weeks...going over the lanes i took him on :bow

it's a great area :thumb2

but one thing for sure the GSA would not go over the same ground..
I'm looking at doing the easy lanes only if we go out that way.. should keep us laughing for around a hour on some easy tracks :clap

this guy had a go on the beach..
tip number one is, when going into a deep rut never come back the same way like this fine chap... took us 20 minutes or so to get him out with 7 of us pulling and pushing and trying not to fall over ...one of the funnyist things i've done on a beach

..oh thats me with my back facing the camera

hence to say i've not entred the same part of the beach again

I was thinking of one not quite so sloppy

At this time of year you'd probably be ok on Blackrock sands.

These be Thursdays then, is that to avoid traffic?

Is the 29th the week of the NEC, waiting to see if i'm going there. Otherwise the others are possibles if I can get cover at work.

A weekend stop over would be my other choice as I've used up all my holidays.

Terry - as you know Im still mad enough to play rugby on Saturdays - but could maybe join in for Sat eve and Sunday if you plan to ride on Sunday too. As it stands could only make the 1st Dec and this is dependent on getting the final drive seal replaced by then too :blast

So if it transpires it's the 1st and you are riding on the Sunday - let me know

i'll see how things pan out m8, if people are up for an over night stay which i'm up for by the way folks then i'll get out on the sunday
to cut cost down we could stay here..http://www.guesthousessnowdonia.com/ around 12 quid a night.. with out food...£5 on top for breakfeast..

I'll have a chat with the other place the "bikers retreat" which is more expensive but does have beer on TAP

plus it's closer to town centre
