Let us know your recommendations for your favourite biker food drink stop, a GPS waypoint would be good.

Seaways Cafe - Fridaythorpe

Seaways Cafe at Fridaythorpe.Take the A166 from York towards the coast, it's more or less at the junction with the A166 and the B1251 to Fimbar.
Pass the garage and it's the first left about 100 yards

Lots there at weekend but mainly bikes. Usually get seats OK
Bacon sandwiches are 9/10

Another vote for Seaways here, also Cafe on the front in Scarbourgh (use to have a anchor outside??) do not know the name sorry.

Surburn cafe as stated before on here just full of Power Rangers :thedummy

Take care all

My vote goes to Lord Stones,:thumb Great roads all the way there, and what
a view, plus camping if like. Good

Next, Willingham in the woods, nr Market Rasen. Tops cheese burgger:clap also great roads there, Try and stick to the B roads.

I leave the best to last, MY HOME, great coffee, just the way i like it:bounce1

Very good cafe/bakery in Hovingham village mid way between Malton and Helmsley, next to the ford.

Castle Cafe

Castle Cafe and Bakery in Helmsley. The sit in Cafe is a bit dreary and you have to fight the Bus Trip Pensioners for a Table but the attached Take Away Bakery do the best Steak Pies for miles, absolutely gorgeous especially straight from the oven.
Mike Tee.

245 UK Truck Stops

245 Truck Stops, not my work, data is thanks to lowbridges.com.

Of the two truck stops I know, both are spot on.

Avoid Mrs B's

Mrs B's Woodland Cafe

It's near the right end of the Humber Bridge, in the car park/tourist info area but doesn't deliver what it promises the website in real life!

Shame.

Er, sorry, it's supposed to be recommends isn't it. Well we've got a bona fide proper coffee shop in Garforth now called Baraka Pastries are from Dumouchel's French bakery which also supplies some of the regions top hotels.

OK so not really a bikers cafe but then neither is Squires these days.

What about Cat'n'fiddle, and a collection of good cafes at Matlock Bath?

Limiting factor there is that they aren't in Yorkshire or Humberside? It's too far and it rained last time I went, also it's classed as darn sarf, I reckon. As well as too many bloody roadside cash machines, sorry speed cameras.

:D

Just had a nice full breakfast at Castlegate Cafe in Helmsley (served up till noon)

Funnily enough its situated at the Castle's.........er...gate!

No black pud and mushrooms though :nenau

They also have a cracking home bakery shop annex :drool
