Cafes, coffee stops and favourite greasy spoons in East Anglia

Let us know your recommendations for your favourite biker food drink stop, a GPS waypoint would be good.

Bacon Butties & Bikes - brilliant

Heres a couple of belters that I use regularly

    1. RAF Waddington viewing area on the A15, proper tea, bacon & cheese baps while watching visiting NATO aircraft at the base + theres also a small shop selling books models etc - a great stop-over.

    2. Willingham Woods picnic stop on the A631 about a mile outside Market Rasen just past the racecourse, very popular with bikes throughout the summer. Again proper bacon baps & strong steaming hot tea. Well worth a visit. http://www.willinghamwoods.com/

Looking forward to perhaps seeing some of you GS`s here in `08`.

    Farm Cafe near Marlesford

Top food. Absolutely top food. Pricey but worth it.

The waitresses are busty and the host is rude.

For those who want to cook their own food, like peasants, on a camping stove, the shop next door sells all the stuff. If you live a couple of miles up the road, the wife might cook it for you.

Then there's the Orwell Crossing Lorry Park that closed down the adjacent McDonalds and is staffed by Poles. Make no mistake, this one is good.

    I Would Recommend:-

Micks Tea bar( Langers Best for Bangers ) located at Bennetts electrical Warehouse car park at Martlesham Heath, just off the A12. Best omelettes served on fresh French sticks.

Tony's on the Bridge, Bourne Bridge On the way into Ipswich on the A137 Hot baked potatoes during the winter months.

The Captains Cabin High Street Burnham On Crouch, All day breakfasts Popular with GS'ERs.
