What are folks oppinions on methods of keeping air in your round and black?

Mousse or not to mousse?
Tubeless or not to tube?

I know this depends alot on where you're going, just wondered what other folks experiences of punctures were.

Here's the piliminary route if anyone was wondering.

Hi,

Tubeless I find are best, becuase if you get a nail or something in the tyre it normally keeps the air in or it produces a slow leak. You can also plug it with the many kits available. Downsides are that the tyres are difficult to remove without a beadbreaker and diificult to inflate without a compressor. I always carried tubes as a back up as I found tyre shops outside of Europe can bodge tyre casings with large patches, then you can fit a tube to get you out of trouble. I carried tyre levers- one tyre shop I had to use in India had no levers suitable for a bike and they attempted to remove the tyre with screwdrivers !! Dont forget some spare valves

Hope this helps

I find punctures are the same the world over. The tyre goes flat. Then you fix it. :nenau
