    Any Valentino Rossi fans?

If anyone's interested we pass Rossi's home town, Tavullia, on our way to Rimini.
If the weather's OK I may pop in for a photo by the town's signpost if anyone wants to join me. It's a 40 minute diversion on our route to the Rimini campsite or it's an hours ride (each way) from the campsite.

I'm sure that when we have crossed the alps it will be sunny and warm, but we always knew that if we were going to get it, it would be Calais to Nancy - so no surprises there then!

Still, think positive, you could be at work instead of riding your bike on an adventure through Europe

    Try this...

    Friday, Dover

    Saturday, Nancy

    Sunday, Como

    Monday, Pisa

    Tuesday, Rome

    It's only a forecast though.
This morning Nancy was forecast rain, now it's forecast sun.

    Also,

60 miles from the Grainau campsite is the BMW Museum.

This may be a non starter 'cos it's going to be a loooong day to get to Grainau but the idea's there.

    Weather or not!

well having looked at the right continent, it still looks to me that once we have got down into Italy, its going to be mid 20's all the way with an occasional chance of rain - at least it will be warm!

I still think if we are going to get buggered by the weather it will be in France.

Now I don't wish to seem like the prophet of doom but an email from a friend in Milan today.

I' m sorry to inform you in Italy we had the worst season since 1961 to 1990

with 35% raining day more than usually percentage on 30 years.

actually the wheater is unstable - sun / rain - rain / sun.

    Distinti Saluti / Best Regards

    bring your waterproofs.
3 days but who is counting.
