Sat 29th March - Wiltshire Green Lane Rideout - Novice/Big trailie friendly

Anyone got some spare knobblies for a K12GT?

Maybe if I'm serious, I should consider taking the fairing off? Nah - I don't do serious. I'll bring my Grifter.

Honestly tho' - if it's dry, I might try and meet up briefly with you guys if I can find an excuse to get out. Don't hold your breath tho' - you can tell me about it when you return :( :tears

I know this is Novice friendly .. but I am not here on the 29th :D :augie

Count me in as well Abel looks good .
might be on tkc,s by then so i can keep up :thumb

This is deffo still on tomorrow guys.

The forecast for tomorrow is not too bad, especially in the morning.

Please be assured that all the routes I intend to use are all weather good surfaces.

There will be plenty of mud /water availible slightly off route for those so inclined tho. ;)

I probably won't be there tomorrow but if you're heading up to the Plain you might want to check what's open.

I live 15Km north of the Plain and as I'm typing this, I can hear (and sometimes feel) that they're doing some exercises up there!!! :eek

Still hoping to be there by 10 - however, do you have any idea where you will be going in the first hour or so ?

Around Boscombe and up to Shipton Bellinger, so not too far from the A303. If yer late just drop me a text to wait at shipton bellenger.

Should be fun. Looking forward to it. :D

:blast a perfect opportunity to get me started on the green stuff, and I can't make it.....:blast :blast :blast

If anyone is taking a GPS, and tracks the route I'd be interested in seeing that, so I could maybe try it myself.

If not hopefully then hopefully I'll get to meet some of you guys next time.

Have fun.

Cheers

What a fantastic day out. The weather and the mud made it even better. You guys on road tyres were amazing! :bow
Comiserations to those who had to bale out and didn't make it to the end. My bikes hosed down and back in the garage and I'm just about to have a shower while my curry warms up.

Thanks again for organising it Adam you are a top bloke :beerjug: and thanks to everyone else for contributing to a great day.:clap:clap

Jon (Scottish guy on yellow DRZ).

Unlucky Ian, but don't feel bad about it. Shit happens (usually to me mind:rolleyes:)
Hope the knee heals soon.

Cheers Jon, my pleasure. :)

Mucho respect to the GS riders. You handled everything I threw at ya (and yes I did throw a couple of lanes in just to push you a bit, so well done).

And hell yeah, Yamaha TDM, BMW Rockster, Triumph Bonneville on road tyres on wet mud.:bow
Be proud guys, you done gooooooooooood.:D
