Built in the back screen or placed to look out the rear screen, (rear screen are not usually metalised), or as most car manufacturers are doing now, putting a roof mounted antennae on.

Has mapsource v6 been released yet ?

according to the garmin website, its still showing this ;

MapSource software version 5.4 as of November 17, 2003

( 14 jan today.)

i haven't registered my sp3 deluxe yet because i have the unlock code in the box, and i'm waiting for v6 before i register.

is that the right thing to be doing or should i just go ahead and register ?

Send your postal address to:

upgradeoffer.europe@garmin.com

They will send you the v6 Disc(s) FOC, supposedly shipping in the UK from 12th January.......

Then register & load V6.....

That's right.

MapSource is currently v5.4
* this is the program to read the maps and work with them
* upgrades are free (always) & available for download

New CityNavigator is v6.0
* these are the maps
* updates are not free, you need CD's
* CD's are free, unlock code is not

Anyone know how to get speed camera database for the uk for sp3 as poi or waypoints ?

Either as download or cd purchase ?

i think i've seen them as .mps files - but thats autoroute and they don't cross-ref. - do they ???
