I went on a very good ride today.
184 miles Chelmsford - Swaffham - Chelmsford.
Decent mixture of A and B roads, some pretty narrow and twisty. Overall, more minor roads than major.
Only saw one GS all day and that was the one I was sitting on.
Ride takes in three cafes, coming from Chelmsford.
Wally's cafe. Turn right off the A134 down Bull Lane in the direction of Acton / B1115.
Cafe in centre of Swaffham, by the rotunda. Plenty of parking. The cafe was shut on Sunday but the fish and chip shop next door was open.
Walker's cafe A1065 / A11 Barton Mills roundabout.
