Has anyone tried either the Gerbing or Giali heated socks? There's plenty of threads about the jackets and gloves but nought (that I could find anyway) about socks.

Every appendage seems to stay warm apart from my toes (its me age :skull ) so £60 for a pair would be worth it - if they work....

Oh yeah, and do you forget that you're plugged in? I love keeping people amused.

Cheers,

Martyn

Are they any good? Oh YESSS!!!

As there's nothing on the site about 'em, I thought I'd do a post-script. I bought the Gerbing socks (GS'ers get a 10% discount if you mention when ordering). They cost me £62 inc' postage. This included the Hella plug to go in the GS power socket.

Expensive? Yes.

Worth it? Abso-'king-lutely my friends. When they come on - woah! Better than a ...... (fill it in yourselves, Paul will only censor my offering!).

After a few hours of riding however, I have to say that they made the boots smell a bit when I took 'em off. It disappeared after a good airing though and the socks are hand-washable.

Good kit. Recommended!
