I have acquired a low mileage GPX750.

I rode it home today, and it was sweet, no leaks, picks up well etc etc.

It's just a bit tatty, which I can work with, but the riding position is garbage with the clip ons.

So, could anyone recommend me a good value place where I can get a decent top yoke conversion kit? Other than that, the bikes a good 'un.

Cheers

Jambo

I hope your cams are ok

They are specific to this model and are reknowned for top end wear.

Nasty bikes :( - good luck

This is what gets me with Jap bikes. loads of people bang on about how good they are and then when any model is mentioned some catastrophic fault comes to light. I was speaking to a friend last night who's CBF 1000 needs a new bank of throttles because the TPS sensor has failed?? Somebody else was raving about CBR600 reliability and mentioned he'd had two voltage regulators explode stranding him in the middle of nowhere both times - he bought a fireblade and the same thing happened to that

Bloody Jap crap...

Much better now..where was I :D

Hmmm, let me see....
I've had:
ZX7R,
1000 Fazer,
1200 Bandit,
DR350,
Z1300,
Z1000 Moto Martin,
GPZ750 Unitrak,
Z650,
GS550E,
...and not one of them broke down or let down ever, not even once! :clap
I must admit though that the wiring on the Z650 was a bit a bit dodgy, but it was 10 years old at the time.
They're not all bad
